$18/hour, flexible schedule
The Piccadilly Puppets Company is seeking an outgoing person to take on some marketing duties for a few weeks starting right away. PPC is a non-profit touring puppet company with a one-person staff. I am seeking someone with experience booking arts (or other programming) into schools to help us sell virtual programming to schools and other organizations (libraries, churches, etc).
Seeking a collaborator who will help develop a plan for this – not someone that just wants to be told what to do. Schedule is flexible but must include some hours during the school day.
Responsibilities:
Formulating a plan with PPC’s Director, Helping determine contacts, Telephoning potential clients, Sending emails, Becoming familiar with our shows and offerings, Tracking time spent, Updating a database with contacts made (recording calls, emails, etc.)
Requirements:
A love of children’s theatre and puppetry, Experience booking programs in schools or working in an elementary school, preferably within the past 3 years, Good phone demeanor, Good focus and organization
