Welcome to Piccadilly!

Welcome, Shelby Folks and Dani Ramos, to the Piccadilly puppeteering team! We are thrilled to bring these talented artists on board.

Dani Ramos is an Atlanta-based actor, storyteller, stage manager, and teaching artist. She is honored to have gotten her B.A in Theatre and Performance Studies from Kennesaw State University and has gone on to work on and backstage for various stages across Atlanta including 7 Stages, Horizon Theater, Woodstock Arts, and more. When she’s not performing, working backstage, or teaching budding theater kids, she can be seen dressing up as various Disney princesses, cuddling her cats, writing, and listening to podcasts…possibly all at once.

Shelby Folks Since moving to Atlanta in 2015, she has firmly found her roots in educational theatre. She has had the privilege of working with Alliance Theatre Education and Institute since 2016. Since that time she has toured the TYA show Fancy Nancy (as Nancy, herself) with Synchronicity Theatre, as well as, taught dance workshops to young performers with Once Upon A Ballet. Working with students from all walks of life has become a highlight of her career as a theatre artist. She has acted in, directed, music directed, and devised a variety of projects with many students across Atlanta. She is proud to hold a BFA in Musical Theatre. Her accolades include winning a Suzi Bass Award for her ensemble acting work in Horizon Theatre’s production of The Wolves, and a recent Suzi Bass nomination in the puppet musical: The Mad Hatterpillar and Her Many Heads (written and directed by Rachel Frawley and SB Hester).
