Piccadilly Puppets is thrilled to welcome our newest board member, Dave Dorrell!
Dave Dorrell has been involved in theatre for over 40 years as an actor, director, and scenic artist. Originally from Jackson, Michigan, he served on the Board of Directors for Jackson Civic Theatre for many years.
Dave and his family moved to Newnan, GA, in 1997, where he was the Artistic Director and then Managing Director for Newnan Theatre Company, served on the City of Newnan’s Cultural Arts Commission for five years, and is currently a member of the Advisory Committee for the Lafayette Society for Performing Arts in LaGrange, GA. Dave has recently retired from the Georgia Renaissance Festival where he served as the Entertainment and Marketing Director for 13 seasons. He currently resides in Toledo, Ohio.
Additionally, Dave has worked as a graphic designer and creative director for Consumers Energy in Michigan; Ernst & Young, Yokogawa Corporation of America, and the Center for Puppetry Arts in Georgia.
