Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

Saturday, March 19th is the magical Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, where this year the Piccadilly Puppets will be hosting a puppet making workshop alongside the flamingo croquet, story-telling, cookie-decorating, egg-hunting and tea-partying fun! For $10 per person you can spend as long as you want between 11AM-3PM in the company the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Red Queen, White Queen and, of course, Alice in Wonderland. An annual family celebration, this Cultural Arts Council festival is eagerly awaited by parents who attended as children and who now want to introduce their children to this magical world. Tea times are 12 noon, 12:45, and 1:30.
World Day of Puppetry at the Center for Puppetry Arts
From 12noon-5pm
1404 Spring St., Atlanta
We will be helping the Atlanta Puppetry Guild provide free puppetry demonstrations in the lobby of the Center for Puppetry Arts. Other free activities include making a sock puppet & meeting Sockly, the Center’s 8-foot-tall sock puppet mascot.
